Dr. Niroshika Monerawila Keppetipola is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Cal State Fullerton. She received her Ph.D. in nucleic acid enzymology from Cornell University and studied alternative splicing during her post-doctoral studies at UCLA. Currently, her research interest lies in the area of eukaryotic gene expression; understanding the effects of post-translational modifications in the function of splicing regulatory proteins.
