Dr. Berna Torr is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at Cal State Fullerton. She is a demographer with over nine years of experience in applied demography. Her research focuses on race and ethnic differentials in family and consequences for child well-being and the effect of migration on child wellbeing. Her current work is with the Orange County Health Needs Assessment and focuses on health and well-being among Vietnamese and Hispanics in ethnic enclaves in Orange County.
