Dr. James Rodriguez is a professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Studies at Cal State Fullerton. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Pomona College and a Ph.D. in education with a specialization in child and adolescent development from Stanford University. His has published on the psychological development and education of Latino children and families with particular emphasis on immigrants and English learners. His research examines the intersection of language, culture and learning within dynamic contexts. The purpose of his work is to promote the positive development, educational success, and overall well-being of children, youth, and families.
